Phantom 2040 (SNES) 00 Research
0The underrated animated series from the 1990s spawned an underrated video game. This research vid is my first dive into the definitive version of Phantom 2040's video game: The North American Super NES title. The complete story is included here.
The game itself is a side-scrolling action platformer. Like Metroid, it features some open areas with secrets galore. It is much less linear than Super Metroid, since the game starts with a series of choices that close off entire areas of the game, unless ou replay them from the beginning.
In this video, I highlight the first major choice: Go Left or Go Right.
