In this part, Phoenix and Pearl inform Will Powers of what has occurred. Will has a radio transceiver that was delivered for Phoenix, and they receive a transmission. The transmission is from someone named De Killer, who has kidnapped Maya and is holding her for ransom. De Killer will release her only if Phoenix can get a complete acquittal for Matt Engarde. Poor Maya! We have to save her!

Also, we get to play as Maya for a brief moment, so we can see her reaction to being kidnapped. As you can guess, she isn't happy about being kidnapped by De Killer.
