So, I'm wanting to do horror-themed indie grab bags this month. Most of them will be co-op, all culminating in a co-op horror tierlist by the end of the month.

This one has:


Nemesis: Distress -- a game set aboard a space station now overrun with aliens. There are a few different mission objective options and a myriad of characters with different abilities that should allow everyone to find one that suits their playstyle. Obsideo -- one I've played a decent bit of, and apparently added the rough draft of a procedural generation mode, which is always appreciated. While that mode still needs a ton of work, the rest of the game still functions perfectly fine, and is a decent recommendation for the genre. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1708460/Obsideo/

Godumas -- another one I've played previously. It's got a large map, decent creature designs, and a gameplay loop that's good for a few rounds once in a while. The lack of progression admittedly doesn't keep me coming back on the regular. It IS only a buck though. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2006730/Godumas/

Unnatural Investigations -- a game I didn't honestly ever expect to touch, again. It's still a jankfest, but a hilarious one at that. Cool concept that still has a long way to go before I would say it could be taken seriously. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1596360/Unnatural_Investigations/
