Mostly wanted to post this for those wondering if the Switch version of Pikmin is worth it.
It actually adds some new things and has some QOL features such as:
New Artwork in the UI
Pikmin AI seems a little better? Like sometimes they'll leave the group annoyingly, but it seems less common
You can switch Pikmin types on the fly when throwing like in the Wii version
You can now use the second stick as the camera stick
The Crushing glitch is either gone or rare
You can "Continue from Last Save" like in the Wii Version
In general, it's based off of the Wii version, but uses the Gamecube cursor.
