Pipe Flaring Expert Shares 3 Easy Steps with Vevor Kit!
18Okay everyone, Here is a Garage Tip for you. We got this Vevor Pipe Flaring Kit off eBay and it's brilliant to make life easier in the Garage. This can be done in 3 easy Steps.
Once you have set up the Vevor Kit in the Workbench Vice, then make sure you get the right flare size your require for the pipe you are working on. For us, we were using a 45 degree flare for C4 Transmission for the XC Ford Falcon Panel Van.
Step 1 - Put your pipe in the device and set the Vevor to the Yellow arrow setting or the Step out setting for the pipe. This sets the deep of the pipe in the device for the flare.
Step 2 - Set the next step to the Green 5/16 setting for the pipe or the size you may be using according to the green labels on the top. Once set, then use the handle to do the first flare stage.
Step 3 - Set the next setting to the orange tabs according to the pipe size. We are using 5/16 pipe and then use the handle to flare the pipe again.
Final, you end up with the perfect double flare for your pipes. Now you can use this for your brake line, Transmission and fuel lines in the garage for your classic or muscle car.
