PJ Carlesimo Fired from Nets
36The Brooklyn Nets' GM, Billy King, decided not to retain interim head coach PJ Carlesimo after their 7 game series loss to the Chicago Bulls. Carlesimo took over for Avery Johnson and coached to a very effective of 35-19. The search is now on for the Nets with Stan Van Gundy, Jeff Van Gundy, Brian Shaw and Phil Jackson the leading candidates.
