Godzilla got a Gameboy game in the United States back in 1990. However, it's actually a port of a 5 year old game that was centered around a chibi style version of Godzilla. Although, the US release attempted to hide these cutesy elements in the marketing and the title screen. Which just made it more confusing and strange to anyone who picked it up back in the day.
