Playing: New World PvP Tank - Outpost Rush
Outpost Rush is a battleground style PvP and PvE mode in New World. The role that I’m playing is a Tank, which is to absorb damage, go after healers, and PvE as needed.
This is my current build (results shown with perks stacked):
• Weapons: Arboreal Gambit - +9% damage when Stamina is not full. Hits inflict Poison, dealing 8% Nature damager per second.
• Sword: Keen Speed gain 20% Haste for 7 seconds on critical hit
• Sword: Sure Footing +30% movement speed while blocking and push and pull distances are against you are reduced by 20%
• Sword: Trenchant Rend Heavy attacks inflict Rend for 7 sec reducing the target’s armor by 15%
• Spear: Sting – Javelin now deals 100% weapon damage and pulls targets toward you. But the default cooldown is increased by 33%
• Spear: Sundering Javelin - Javelin inflicts Rend to targets above 50% Health, reducitng the target’s armor by 40% for 10s
• Spear: Trenchant Strikes - Heavy Melee attacks deal +23% damage
• Spear: Keenly Jagged - Inflicts Bleed on critical hit dealing 10% weapon damage per second for 6s
• Armor: Arboreal Physical Ward = +2% Physical Damage Absorption.
• Arboreal Elemental Ward x4 = +8% Elemental Damage. +8% Nature Damage
• Spectral Ward x3= 6% Elemental Damage and 2% Physical Damage Absorption.
• Refreshing x4 = Reduce Max cooldowns by 16%
• Invigorating x3 = Reduce the base duration of Weaken, Disease, Exhaust and Rend by 45%
• Grit Ward: -3% Damage while under the effects of Grit
• Sturdy Energy: While Blocking a hit while below 30% Stamina gain 42% gain 42% Stamina regeneration for 6 seconds (this effect is removed if you become exhausted)
• Nature Harnessing and Nature Damage: +9.1% Nature damage
• Empowering Breaker – When your attacks are blocked gain a stack of Empower. Increasing your damage by 4.2% (Max 5 stacks so 21%)
• +11.8% Health
• Enchanted Ward: -4% damage from Light and Heavy attacks
• Thrust Conditioning: +5% Thrust damage absorption for 5s after taking Thrust damage
• Elemental Aversion: Receive 4.5% less damage from ranged elemental attacks
• Shield Wall: Gain 5% base damage reduction. You cannot dodge, but have 33% more stamina
• Chromatic Orb: You take 25% less damage from all sources
• Sturdy: Receive 10% less Stamina damage while blocking
• Keenly Fortified: Gain 10% Fortify for 3s on Critical Hit (10 sec cooldown)
• Fortifying Shield Rush: After hitting a target with Shield Rush gain Fortify. Increasing armor by 35% for 4 seconds.
• Stamina Recovery: When you are hit while below 50% Health, gain 105 Stamina (30 second cooldown. Does not trigger off persistent damage, DoT effects, or blocked attacks)
• Leeching: Heal for 7.1% of the damage you deal (Does not trigger of persistent damage or DoT effects)
• Hearty: +10% Stamina
• The Thirst: Healing consumables are 33% stronger, but healing potion cooldowns are 25% longer.
• Empowering Toast: on Potion Drink gain 10% Empower for 8s
• Fortifying Toast: On Potion Drink: Gain 20% Foritfy for 8s
• Nimble: +10% Stamina Regeneration
