In this Let's Play we will see lots of gameplay and we will take the fight against drugs in a role-playing approach to the boss of bosses, the Superbaddie "El Sueño" in a fictitious version of Bolivia in a failed state setting that could happen in any country given some time, just a few right factors and bad and weak people in the right (or wrong) places...
We will attempt a complete playthrough on the highest difficulty (simulation mode) - that should be interesting and a nice tactical challenge! As with all my Let's Plays I will create my own narrative and my own story which means in this case that I will role-play a female agent with a good heart and better intentions. Let's see if she can live up to her standards...
Be advised that the episodes contain digital violence, atrocities committed by the bad guys (our hands will hopefully stay clean as we are the good guys) and adult humour especially in my comments (but nothing explicit or nasty I would argue, so your conscience and soul will stay pure if you are so inclined). You can also see digital destruction - and characters are going to die. Always remember however: Those are just pixels and this is just a computer game which we want to take seriously from the gamer's perspective, but not too much.
The game Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands is a third-person tactical shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Paris in collaboration with Ubisoft Bucharest, Ubisoft Reflections, Ubisoft Montpellier, Ubisoft Annecy, Ubisoft Milan and Ubisoft Belgrade, and published by Ubisoft in 2018.
It sports modern warfare on the scale of a small tactical team. There is a narrative about a druglord with a messiah complex who is our prime target - Operation Kingslayer. To get to him we, the agents, have to destabilize his whole operation. And that will be a challenge as his cartel has undercut parts of the Bolivian state in this scenario essentially controlling the region. So we are on our own - with some friends, a rebel movement of goodhearted Bolivian people, well, and Miss Bowmann, a social aid worker who is more than meets the eye...
