Hey everyone, I'm back with another cover from PMD! It's been over a year since my last PMD project (Monster House), but the December Pixel Mixer's contest was "games involving time travel." Since time travel is the story driver for PMD2, I figured I'd throw my hat in the ring. I was listening to a lot of prog at work in November/December, and I randomly got the idea to write Treeshroud Forest in this way. VOLA and Arch Echo were probably my biggest inspirations for this, along with PEEK for the clean sections. I wanted to have a pretty unique instrumentation - with two guitar leads and soprano sax. I knew to ask GOTW right away since he's a PMD superfan, and then Kalen and Manuel showed interest as well (thank you Yusuf for introducing me to Manuel). Erika saw that I was talking about prog and wanted to get in on the rhythm guitar parts and she nailed it. V-Ron is another PMD superfan, and Yusuf was here to kill it again. I won't lie, I ran into some issues with the arrangement/mix - as well as getting sick for a few days last week (which made meeting the deadline difficult), but we pulled through in the end.
