The original hint book that came with the first four King's Quest games had sections in it called "Points of Interest." At the end of each chapter, there was a section called "Points Not of Interest." This was one of my favorite parts of the book. :)

This not only includes the various ways to die, but also things that will lose you points, cause you to lose the game, or things that aren't exactly in your interest because doing them prevents you from getting the full points in the game.

Here is what the section in the hint book says: (page 47)
Sometimes it's fun to live on the edge. Try some of these things, but only after you've saved the game.

Stand in front of the rock when you move it
Let the witch have you for dinner
Do a swan dive into the moat surrounding the castle
Pet the giant rat
Step on the dragon's tail
(end quote)

Here are the points not of interest included in part 1:
Go for a swim in the moat
Visit King Edward, look at him, then try to kill him
Stand in front of the rock when you move it
Splash around in body of water without trying to swim
Swimming in a river that doesn't look safe to cross
Stop to listen to the wolf's barking (or just play with it)
Pretend to be a frog and jump into the well
Cut the rope with the bucket lowered into the well
"Forget" how to swim when you reach the bottom of the well
Tread water in the well for an extended period of time
Hang out at the bottom of the well
Drink from your bucket when you enter the dragon's lair
Play a game of dodge the dragon flames while taking the mirror
Kill the dragon
Feed the carrot to the goat
Kill the goat
Open the gate in the goat pen and let the goat escape
Go for a ride on the witch's broomstick so that you can hear her cackle
Take a dive in a dangerous river
