Let my Johto journey begin.

During this Nuzlocke Challenge the following rules will be followed at all times.
1: Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead and must be released or deposited into a death box where it will remain for the remainder of the Nuzlocke.
2: I may only catch the first wild Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first wild Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances.
3: Rule 2 does not apply to Pokémon able to be captured during static encounters or gifted from an NPC.
4: I must nickname all of my Pokémon, for the sake of forming stronger emotional bonds with my Pokemon.
5: This Nuzlocke is considered a victory after beating Red.
6: This Nuzlocke is considered a failure with I have no Pokemon that I am able to use, this includes Pokemon held within the PC.
7: If the first Pokémon in an area is within the same evolutionary chain as one that I have already owned, then I may continue battling until I encounter one I do not own or have not owned, and then I may attempt to catch it.
8: In the rare event that a Shiny Pokémon is encountered I am able to catch this in addition to the the Pokémon for the route unless it is the first Pokémon encountered.
9: Speed up will only be used to hatch eggs or if grinding is required due to a loss and team rebuild is required.
