Pastoria City’s gym has switches that adjust the water level. Use the rafts to cross certain spots. After navigating enough of the gym, you’ll battle the leader. Crasher Wake uses Water type Pokémon. Gyarados will use Swagger to confuse opponents and make them flinch by using Bite. Quagsire will use Mud Bomb to make opponents less accurate and Mud Sport to weaken Electric type moves. Floatzel will use Pursuit to strike those who attempt to switch out and Ice Fang to freeze or flinch foes. After the battle, you’ll receive the Fen Badge and a TM55 (Brine). Brine causes double the damage if the target’s HP is half or less from its maximum.
