Finally getting around to playing the main series games on this channel! Originally, I was going do back-to-back uploads of each gen with my then-partner, but after that plan fell apart, I decided to pull a Thanos and "Do it myself" LOL.

In this series, I'll be going through every mainline Pokémon game, and I'll be showing off basically everything and catching everything. Just one thing to note is; If there are enough differences between the versions, I will have them as separate projects (Like Ruby & Sapphire), but if there are only a few changes (Like Sword and Shield), it'll be a combined project that'll show off both games, while using one as the primary playthrough.

For Pokémon FireRed, I decided to try and go with Red's canon team, as well as edit a few things to make the game more interesting. For example:

1) National Dex is available from the start, so there are no stupid restrictions on post-gen 1 evolutions like Crobat.

2) Encounters are tweaked to be more like how they are in Let's Go! Pikachu and & Eevee Versions, so starters now have a 1% chance to appear in the wild, and baby Pokémon like Pichu can appear too.

3) Giovanni's gym battle was updated to reflect the Anime, so he now has Mewtwo on his team

4) The Elite Four were updated to make them more challenging, as well as give them more diverse Pokémon. Blue was also updated to have his team from Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon.

5) Edited in event items to fight Lugia, Ho-oh and Deoxys.

6) Cerulean Cave was changed to have more challenging wild encounters, as well as aseptically look and sound different to reflect the tone.

Hope ya'll enjoy our long-awaited journey through one of my favorite franchises ever ^^
