The pokemon franchise is getting a live action series, but it's very different from what you might be thinking about just now. This japanese drama show called poketsume follows the university graduate Madoka Agaki, who quits her job in a small Japanese port town to head to Tokyo for a new start.
In the big city the pressure is a lot higher and her stress level is through the roof when she has to take on a presentation for her new company, so her mother sends her a care package with some old goodies inside: An original game boy with an old copy of pokemon red that she used to play as a child.
