0The next area is Lightning Field, because this is where we will find a Pokémon said to create thunderclouds. Lightning Field has a bunch of Electric-type Pokémon, and if the boss of this dungeon is a bit like Entei, then we should be able to fight three different Legendary Pokémon in each of the three fields.

As we have defeated Entei at Fiery Field, and we now have the Red Wing, we can access Lightning Field, and there should be a Pokémon that is like Entei, as in another member of the Legendary Trio, so we should go prepared.
Lightning Field is a 30 floor dungeon filled with Electric-type Pokémon, but there are a few Grass-type Pokémon that appear on different floors, so you might want to bring something to handle them if you want to take a Ground-type with you, Marowak and Rhydon are good choices as they get Lightning Rod, and if you teach Flamethrower or Blizzard, they can help with the Grass-types.
In Lightning Field, you can encounter Magnemite, Mareep, Electrike, Pikachu, Flaaffy, Plusle, Minun, Jolteon, Cacturne, Electrode, Elekid, Ampharos, Magneton, Tropius, Manectric, and Raichu. Some of these Pokémon can learn some powerful Electric-type moves like Thunderbolt and Discharge, but if you bring a Pokémon with Lightning Rod, like Rhydon or Marowak, they should be no problem, and I believe you can find Rhyperior as a fainted Pokémon in this dungeon, and if that has Lightning Rod, you are set, but it is still recommended to bring a Pokémon with Lightning Rod, otherwise you will need to depend on luck in recruiting an Electrike or Manectric in this dungeon.
If your Ground-type knows Earth Power, that is a great help in clearing out rooms of Pokémon, in this original games, you would find Thunder Stones on floor 29, but instead you can find Evolution Crystals in the Kelceon Shops in Lightning Field.
There is no strong foe in Lightning Field, it would be nice to have something like Electivire or Magnezone be the strong foe for Lightning Field, or a Grass-type like Tangrowth, Roserade, or even Sceptile, but then again none of the three fields have a strong foe.
On the 30th floor of Lightning Field, you have to fight Raikou, well it is to be expected because we did fight Entei at Fiery Field, and Raikou is one of the three Legendary Beasts. Raikou can use Discharge, that is dangerous if you do not have a Pokémon with Lightning Rod on your team, and it can use Reflect to decrease the damage from any Physical attacks you use against it, and Earth Power is a great move to have on a Pokémon you take into this dungeon. I believe it can use Extrasensory in this fight, otherwise you shouldn't have much problems in taking it down if you brought any Ground-type Pokémon with you, or any Pokémon with Lightning Rod.
After defeating Raikou, it will turn your Red Wing into a Sunset Wing, and will tell you to go to Northwind Field, and that we can encounter a Pokémon called Suicune there, so the three Legendary Beasts must have something to do with the Mirage Pokémon.
