Ah Generations, the 20th Anniversary celebration set that was a right pain to get hold of on PTCGO. This was the first large set to my knowledge that was not available in "normal" booster boxes, instead exclusively being available in special packs that released throughout 2016. As time went on more products released with additional promos, eventually building up to the Elite Trainer Box you see in the video. As a result, most promos will be shown here but their legality will still be followed in our games.

This set is largely a reprint one, but it does have a few new EX's as well as a handful of unique Trainers that will change decks a little. Notably Revitalizer gives a large buff to Vesiquen/Vileplume, which Psy will be piloting this round. Jolteon-EX might not come in immediately, but is also a huge card to keep in mind in future formats as a spiritual successor to Pyroar, making it much harder to spam Basic-only decks.

Overall, interesting note in Pokémon's history. Let's show off everything it has to offer!
