Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch the first Bug type Pokémon per Route; This includes non-Bug type Pokémon that evolve into Bug type Pokémon, but not non-Bug type Pokémon that evolved FROM Bug type Pokémon (Species Clause)
3. Nickname Pokémon
Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (held items okay)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on "Set" battle mode
Additional Ruleset cuz why not:
7. I must match the number of Pokémon that my opponent has for all Gym Leader and Elite Four Battles
8. No set-up moves & no mega evolution
9. No specific EV training (i.e., EVs are not turned off, some Pokémon will naturally gain some EVs by fighting mandatory trainers)
