An audio clip of a British TV advert of the classic Tomy children's pirate game Pop-Up Pirate! from 1992. In the advert, four children (2 boys and 2 girls) dig up a treasure chest which is buried in sand. They open the treasure chest and find the Pop-Up Pirate! game within, and they play the game. In the game, players must insert swords into the slots on a barrel which a one-eyed pirate is sitting in. If you insert a sword into the wrong slot, the pirate will fly out of the barrel, and you get eliminated from the game and the last player remaining is the winner. I've never owned nor played Pop-Up Pirate! Pop-Up Pirate! has been around since 1975 and Tomy keeps making and releasing the game which generations of children have played in almost the last 50 years. Tomy has made some great games over the years and Pop-Up Pirate! is one of them.
