Though the night I streamed it, I forgot the word "Skueomorphic", that is Popup Dungeon's WHOLE DEAL, and it is crazy. This entire game is crafted like a mechanical marvel from The Room, and in its underlying design, is reminiscent of Wildermyth and Children of Zodiarcs.

For the record, "Diegetic" refers to SOUND that is tied to an in-world physical source, like music playing on the radio in a movie.

"Skeuomorphic" is the word that refers to interface elements that are made to resemble real-world objects, like the notebook UI in the original State of Decay.
