I exit the pump station beta, and I return to the huge shaft 09, trying to get up to the next sphere. I can't reach the exit, slung high in the air, so I do some aerobatics to get to the control room. There sits GLaDOS, hooked up to a potato battery! I shoo the bird away, then I attach GLaDOS to my gun. She seems much more cooperative now. I flip a switch to open the gate, then I am able to catapult to the exit.

The next chamber reveals that GLaDOS seems to have been Cave Johnson's secretary at one point in time. Then, we use propulsion gel (orange gel) to solve the test chamber by zooming along the gel then leaping everywhere.
