Post Office DISMISS Subpostmaster over his Operation of the Horizon system and fail to provide a reason according to evidence shown at the Post Office Inquiry.
Alan Bates, who had at the time been running the Post Office successfully, in spite of the Horizon issues, was given no reason and 3 months notice that his contract with the Post Office was being terminated after a tense exchange of letters with his new retail line manager.
