The "Dirty Dozen" refers to a watch model that was produced during World War 2 for the British armed forces by companies in Switzerland: Robust, highly legible with dark dials and big hands, big amounts of lume and Swiss made movements.
The originals are rare and often in poor condition. But they are available in form of re-issues by some modern companies. The latest is the DD-45 by the US brand Praesidus.
