Predaplant", known as "Predator Plants" (捕食植物プレデター・プランツ Puredetā Purantsu) in Japan and "Predator Plant" in the English manga, is an archetype of DARK Plant #monsters used by #Yuri in the #Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V
The monsters are largely based on carnivorous plants, carrion flowers, and/or plants with peculiar characteristics. Appearance wise, some "Predaplant" monsters have leaf-like mouth parts with vine-like appendages resemble hands with thorns for claws and teeth; the others have plant and animal characteristics which varies between insects, dinosaurs, reptiles, and even mythological creatures
This card is based on a t is a liana, with a three-stage lifecycle, each with a different shaped leaf, as indicated by its Greek name. In the first stage, T. peltatum forms a rosette of simple lanceolate leaves with undulate margins. It then develops long, slender, glandular leaves, resembling those of the related Drosophyllum, which capture insects; one to three of these leaves in each rosette. The plant then enters its adult liana form, with short non-carnivorous leaves bearing a pair of "grappling hooks" at their tips on a long twining stem which can become 165 feet (50 meters) in length and four inches (10 cm) thick. T. peltatum is the largest of all confirmed carnivorous plants in the world
And Vertumnus also Vortumnus or Vertimnus) is the god of seasons, change and plant growth, as well as gardens and fruit trees in roman mythology
