Daisy's Diary:
Day 8

We traveled to the western keep where the Yoshi King was said to be. The other Yoshis mentioned that the king might know about the crystal we're looking for. The king said that he can't help us unless we find his crown, which is hidden within a cave to the south.
We're making our way over there right now. Peach thought it best that we purchase some supplies before going since there are rumors of enemies that can turn people to stone. The only cure is in Yoshheim, so we're stocking up on those.
Mario still continues to train (does he ever stop?) while me and Luigi plan out battle strategies. He keeps a record of all the enemies we've run into and what weak points they have. I asked him how he knows what to look for and he said that Mario taught him years ago. I was honestly surprised because I don't see Mario over here drawing up battle strategies. Luigi said that it's because Mario believes that with enough strength, you don't need a strategy for simple enemies, but he knows better when it comes to tougher foes like Bowser.
Well, at least he's smart in that area, but I think that it's important to keep in mind the weaknesses of any enemy. I asked Luigi if there was any type of monster he couldn't read and he froze briefly and muttered "ghosts." I recall learning that he wasn't a fan of ghosts. I don't think they're too scary, but I can see where Luigi's coming from.
Let's just hope that we don't have to face an army of undead in that cave.
