So it has been a very long time since I got the game gifted to me by ILove80sRock. Finally giving it a shot. I've known for years the "little" issues it has with the saving system and how the game feels with reloading, but I have to say it is surprisingly fine. If I wanted to go full on hardcore with it I could just restart levels from the start. There is still something to be said about the meta progression like that... It just feels like it doesn't belong. The feeling of having to replay levels later with better weapons and movement options doesn't feel right.
There is a lot good to be said about the game too, like the looks of it and level design is superb for the most part. Reloading doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. Game being like "Cookie Clicker" of fps games is just fine as well.
Will be playing the game through and testing its other features like level editor at some point.
