Story: The year was 1940, during the Death Valley gold rush, (OK, so there was no such thing, but there would be no story if there wasn't!) many people from all over the US and Canada converged into the deepest depths Death Valley has. They all decided to work together in digging up the gold. There was some disagreement on how to mine it. Some of the miners wanted to strip mine for it, and others wanted to dig long, deep tunnels which was more traditional. They decided on strip mining. After a few weeks, the miners noticed that they've wrecked the beauty of this spot in Death Valley, so they decided to go with the tunnel method, so no more of the beautiful landscape above would get ruined. Onto digging the tunnels. The plans were simple. First, they dug a large room underground not too far from the surface. To prevent a collapse, they built a metal support structure to hold up the ground above. As they would dig deeper, they'd use wood, if needed. However, they have to figure out where to go from this big room. Another thing on their mind is how to get out of the hole they made from strip mining, being too deep to climb out of! OOPS! Minor boo-boo in their plans. Good thing they have some ladders along with them! At last, the first deep tunnel was created, and now the blasting began. After blowing out a HUGE cavern underground, they supported some of the weak areas with metal beams, 2 supports to be exact. Now they made another small tunnel from here, 100 feet away to the next blasting sight. Now there are 2 huge caverns, none which were any good, no gold at all! In the middle of digging a second tunnel to the big caverns was underway, the miners gave up, and never came back to the mine again. They boarded-up the entrance, and took all the tracks out. It's now 1994, and mysterious things have occurred to the residents nearby. They disappeared, never to bee seen again. The FBI were called in to see what the hell was going on. They sent an agent to the mines where many crimes were committed. As one was looking around, an Imp grabbed the agent and brought him down! He was taken somewhere, but no
