Shame this didn't land on the PlayStation 2 when Capcom had the chance but a good gem, Project Justice!

Project Justice (or Burn! Justice Academy in Japan) follows from the 1997 iteration of Rival Schools. The storyline involves a new struggle amongst the schools once again....this time, at the hands of Kurow Kirishima who is a ruthless assassin being the 'Reverse Society' who takes out Batsu's father, Raizo while planning to eliminate the Imawano family and setting a plan to rule Japan. With sending out his sister, Yurika and his subordinate, Momo to the other schools, this caused another rift and disruption to the schools along with brainwashing Daigo, leader of Gedo High School and posing as Batsu under the name of 'Vatsu' to wreck his reputation!

Project Justice follows the same mechanics as 'Rival Schools'. However, it is now 3 fighters taking on 3, a new 'Party Up' attack in which three fighters can attack at the same time and 'Team-Up Special' in which in which this can either work for you in attacking your opponent or stopping the Team-Up Technique. Although, the 'vigor meter' was cut back from 9 to 5 (kinda ironic!) Lastly, Arcade Mode has two sub-mode in Story which you view the situation unfold and 'Free Mode' in which you can mix it up with all characters!

Overall, still a great title to play. Back in 2000, I was shocked that it made the jump from PlayStation to the Dreamcast but (just a assumption here, folks!) Capcom wanted more in this one considering that the 1999 update of Rival Schools on the PS1 had Nagare and Ran along with the other party modes! Also, it was a bummer that the character creation mode never made it to the West along with 'School Life Mode' which is now a board-game type mode but (fingers crossed here!) a fan translation happens in due time!

'Project Justice' was played on Demul, recorded through Nvidia GeForce Experience and re-encoded through Wondershare UniConverter/Filmora.

Hope that you enjoy the video and stay tuned for more fighting action!
