Project: Playtime is a spin-off, multi-player online game that allows seven
different players to join a lobby together to play a game. Six players will play as, as Leith Pierre explains it, "Resource Extraction Specialists" that must collect seven different toy parts scattered around the factory. Some of these parts require puzzles that one or multiple other players must be involved in to obtain said items.
While this is happening, the final seventh player can choose to be one of the three notable antagonists seen within the Poppy Playtime franchise: Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Long Legs, and the brand new monster, Boxy Boo. The monster is tasked with defeating all six players no matter the costs, having unique and special abilities to assist them.
As the game progresses, you can unlock upgrades for both Players and Monsters that will assist you even more as you explore the two (confirmed) maps: the Factory and the Theater. Alongside this, custom skins for the GrabPack, Players and Monsters are available at the cost of the new in-game currency "Toy Tickets!" Toy Tickets can only be obtained by playing the game.
