Like Goal: 25 (The final chapter is here!)
IMPORTANT NOTE: The final chapter is a long one at over 2 ½ hours. No multi-part this time.
Despite defeating Nine Nine last chapter, they learn that the floating island they’re in is revealed to be the Centipex. Saya details everything that had happened including the 101 Embryo Plan along with the Tsukumu Project.
To summarize, the Tsukumu Project was a project that came about ten years ago during the events of Namco X Capcom. Ouma wished for the project to be used to merge and unite all the worlds. Centipex was created for this purpose. To do so, Kyuju Kyu or 99 was required. However Reiji and Xiaomu destroyed it. Its pieces were spread through all the different worlds and timelines… 101 pieces. The 101 Embryo Plan came about to recover the pieces and the gold chains were used to find the pieces and widen the seams between dimensions. Byaku Shin, translated as 100 Gods was a prototype of Kyuju Kyu’s upper body and torso went nuts and deviated from its programming. Upon seeing it, the gang realizes their plan and decides to stop it. But trouble emerges as various villains come in to aid Ouma in their plan like Metal Face, Sigma, Kamuz, Pyron and even Ranmaru. Oh and to add onto to all of this, the groups learn that they’re standing on Dimension Fusion Charges. Should they be activated, all the worlds will end and merge together.
There are two objectives here in this final chapter. One is the utmost importance: DO NOT LET A SINGLE UNIT REACH A FUSION CHARGE! Should that happen, it’s game over! You got to take the fight to them and prevent the enemy from using Byaku Shin to unleash the Song of Rifts. It’s basically translated as end of everything. Once the first group of main bad guys is gone, Ouma is your next target so focus all your efforts on them. Be warned that like the previous boss Meden Traore, it has a massive range meaning she can attack many of your units even if they’re not in range. It makes up for it with her being in one spot. Heal up (or revive) after it attacks and then keep taking the fight to Ouma. Once the others are defeated, Saya’s shield will go away and then you can take her out. Saya’s death will cause the shield that Byaku Shin has will go as well. It will tell you simply to give it EVERYTHING you have against her. You’ll need it, all while listening to an orchestral version of the game’s main theme.
After Byaku Shin’s defeated, that’s it. All the worlds are safe, the many heroes return to their worlds and they say goodbye… until they all reunite for a celebratory party in Demitri’s mansion. Food, fun, fighting, racing and dancing occurs along with an ending that’ll make you feel hopeful for our two Shinra agents. Here’s hoping they come back in Project X Zone 3. I hope that does happen.
