Bikes for this level
450cc Banzai Sport 450
Description: Abused on tracks for six years, the “Sport” still handles well and can roar out of corners faster than some bikes twice its size.
Cost: $4,495
60 HP
Weight: 340 lbs (kg)
Handling: Silky
Acceleration: Smooth
Top Speed: Respectable (Axle, Jon, Mike, or Bose: 117 MPH (188 KMH) every other racer: 123 MPH (198 KMH))
Trade-in value: $2,247
AI driver: Any rider whose bike you’re riding on the course
Notes: Decent cornering and a surprisingly medium speed make this the biggest bargain in the shop. The perfect bike for supplementing your first big bike purchase.
500cc Killer Rat
Description: The Frankenstein’s Monster of the Rat Bike set, the Killer Rat is a composite of the remains of several wrecked cycles.
Cost: $5,489
65 HP
Weight: 390 lbs (177 kg)
Handling: Average
Acceleration: Romping
Top Speed: Killer (Jon, Mike and Bose: 123 MPH (198 KMH) every other rider: 128 MPH (206 KMH))
Trade-in value: $2,744
AI driver: Jim
Notes: With speeds that bullet past 120 MPH, quick handling, and a cheap price, the Killer Rat is a bike that can hold up to its sport bike competitors.
600cc Stiletto Aggressore
Description: Perhaps the best buy in the shop, the Aggressore is a superbly-balanced machine.
Cost: $6,994
75 HP
Weight: 410 lbs (186 kg)
Handling: Predictable
Acceleration: Strong
Top Speed: Competitive (Jon, Mike, or Bose: 123 MPH (198 KMH) every other rider: 128 MPH (206 KMH))
Trade-in value: $3,497
AI driver: Either Slash, Zippy, Slater, Sven, or Spud, depending on the course.
Notes: The Aggressore is disappointing. This has the same performance stats as the Killer Rat, a bike more than $1,000 dollars cheaper. But, this weighs twenty pounds more than the Killer Rat, so it does handle better in the turns. Nonetheless, buy the Killer Rat, you’d save more money and have more flexibility in the turns.
