Just finished setting up my PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 — so I hit up Altech in Centralia, WA to grab some essentials! In this video, I show you exactly what I picked up: a PS2 controller, a wireless PS3 DualShock 3, memory cards (including a 32MB one), and a few cheap retro games to test the systems.
🛒 Here’s what I picked up:
• PS2 GameStop controller (only $10!)
• Wireless PS3 controller ($25)
• 32MB PS2 memory card
• PS1 memory card
• PS2 game: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
• PS1 games: Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, All-Star Racing, Ford Racing
• Xbox original games: Tetris Worlds, NASCAR Heat 2002
I also compare the PlayStation setup to Xbox 360’s constant add-on costs, and talk about how awesome it was that the PS3 had free online play back in the day. If you’re into retro PlayStation collecting or game store hunts, you’ll like this one.
