As opposed to going to the website, matching up your exact game build, finding a compatible patch, copying it to the PS4, then installing it manually... Patch Installer does it all for you directly on the console! In addition to updating games, this allows you to download specific patch versions, meaning you could choose to downgrade your game to a specific patch version if you ever choose to.
