I got curious one day, after many days of hearing, of colored lighting, truncated maps and Doom 2 monsters in Doom 1, so I found a way to play!
It was fun, I tried my best to be authentic to what I saw, but I couldn't get the hud quite right, I used the PSX TC btw. Played with a controller for authenticity.
Playing Doom with a controller isn't as big a headache as other fpses, likely due to the lack of vertical aiming, it also lets me lean back in my chair which is nice.
