I was an AWP:er in Counter-Strike and the love carried over to this game.

In 98% of all situations there is nothing the AWM can do that the K98 or M24 can't do. Coupled with the fact that the AWM only has 20 bullets and has a very distinct sound makes it more of a hassle than a benefit. Almost no one has a Tier 3 Helmet so there is almost no reason at all to pick up the AWM, unfortunately.
But there is something special about knowing you have the Most Powerful gun in the entire game in your hands :D
And you know that every headshot you hit intimidates the enemy something unbelievably :P
