Seeing him played against Matt Smith's Doctor at his most bonkers is one of the huge treats of Closing Time, the other being the return of a classic monster, the Cybermen... though that one doesn't go over nearly so well. Is the double act enough to hold this one together, or does it ultimately collapse into a pile of spare parts?
