Me finally putting in some extended time to try and make some progress in Pulstar after neglecting it far too long. The 18-23 deaths roughly that it took to achieve this opening level gives me an idea as to why that may have happened. Still an awesome game, and after learning that a portion of the main R Type 1&2 team left and developed this for neo geo makes all the sense in the world and also further intrigues me to press onward.
