Recently completed a Q Bee for a return customer in time for Evo this year.

- Sanwa JLF stick and Sanwa OBSC buttons all round. Rims tinted to be more yellow than the standard radioactive yellow they make (why do they do this?!) with black plunger inserts.
- Took the custom balltops one step further and crafted this one using a round 39mm clear balltop I bought from Sugarkane/Brokenglish some time ago. Honey pot lights up.
- Datel/Paewang pcb with Toodles led controller and KN inserts
- Honeycomb effect created with layers of acrylic CNC cut (thanks for Brokenglish again) and glued together. I then decided to make it a little more detailed and made the walls thinner and also chamfering the top edges. Certain holes have the honey effect in them aswell.
- Honey comb sprinkled with hand painted bees. I bought fake flies from a joke store, plucked the wings off, hand painted them and then stuck the wings back on. Honestly, some of the shit one must do when it comes to sticks.
- Case is solid acrylic with sides recessed so it illuminates when lit up. Also acts as a handle to carry the stick.
- Main artwork of QBee obviously but after printing and installing it onto the case I had an idea to cut the wings away, print them on transparent plastic film and then apply it back so it looks like the wings are real (as can be).
- Underside image/symbol includes her knife and fork she shows in the game with stainless steel panel underneath. Bottom plexi, stainless steel panel, mirror (facing upwards) and honeycomb are all bolted together to make it very easy to gain access to the inside without having loads of bits everywhere.
- J&J style wiring.
