The newest video in a new series called QT30E is on Cloudberry Kingdom, a game by Pwnee Studios, published by Ubisoft, and played on my PlayStation 3 via the PSN.

I picked this game purely on it's name. i've been downloading my stuff from the PSN for my PS3 XMB Game Preview series and this name stuck out. i know i've had it a long time, i'm fairly sure it was a PlayStation Plus game. but i've never played it. turns out one of my friends had played it and i had a save for the game backed up. so when i started it, it asked if i wanted to continue from level 54.

I didn't. the game starts with demos of future levels being played and frankly, they looked nuts. as i hadn't played the game before, i assumed that right from the off there was going to be difficult levels. so the game asking if i wanted to continue from level 54 was met with an immediate "no" and i started from the beginning.

This was a good choice as it opens with story. it was good story, too. it's a little frustrating that in the 30 minutes of playing the game, there were no additions to it. what was also a relief was that the game didn't start bonkers hard. actually, the game did great in slowly progressing the difficultly level over the 30 minutes. there were tough moments, but i never felt that it was too hard. If you're playing the game for the first time, like i did, you're in for a treat. If you get the chance to, i do recommend giving it a go. but personally, i'm fine leaving it at level 50. i may pop in now and then to play a little, but these type of games where you have to get from A to B navigating difficult stuff isn't really my cup of tea.
