Quake Live Duel Lesson #1 - Lost World - Starting Spawns
34In this video lesson I try to explain some of the things you need to keep in mind when you get dealt your first spawn of the match. Basically I show you what I like to do with each spawn.
It is important to play your starting spawn correctly, as the decisions that you make will decide how much control you will be getting out of the opening.
While some starting spawns are preferable to others, Lost World always offers a balanced, fun and interesting game right from the start, if you know how to handle your spawn correctly.
Usually you'll see one of the players getting an early stack advantage, and the other player having the early weapon advantage.
