Queen by Midnight brings more than just an awesome lazy susan dice tower to the table
So far Darrington Press (the company that the Critical Role folks started up) has been known for TTRPG or TTRPG adjacent fare, but Queen by Midnight marks their first foray into the wider world of cardboard. So of course they start off with a gorgeously printed and satisfyingly vertical centerpiece that acts as a round tracker, dice tower, and card market that can be easily turned towards each player because it's also a lazy susan. And almost in spite of this presentational flourish there's a solid deck-builder that not only incorporates some interesting asynchronous mechanics, but allows up to six players at a time! Check out this overview of the game given to us by the designer himself, Kyle Shire!
