In my previous video, I showed you how to find sound file paths in TMB files without using the TMB Editor. In this video, I'll show you how to extract sound files and preview them without using the SCD Editor.
1. Using the sound file path you extracted from the TMB file, use Raw File Export in Textools to extract the sound file. To do this, make sure all characters in the file path are lower case. This may not hold true for files from later expansions.
2. With the file extracted, go to this online file converter (or the file converter of your choosing) to open and preview the extracted sound file. https://katiefrogs.github.io/vgmstream-web/
I've also started a new discord dedicated to teaching about modding, Students of Baldesion.
