Quick POV Flight on MSFS with new monitor Running Ultra. Hard to tell it is a sim.
Neither of these recordings truly captured how clear and smooth it actually is.
I have decided that while pursuing my private pilot's certification that I will try flying with as realistic a cockpit as I am able to. This includes the single engine TM console with trim wheel from Gear-Falcon. Also includes a USB adapter from 9ER Systems that allows me to use my Dave & Clark general aviation headset.
I have a subscription to ForeFlight, and I have a connection to the sim for flight tracking, and this will allow me to get notices through my headset. Some audible warnings which include entering airspace, flying into any sort of alert areas and so forth. And the new Odyssey G5 monitor from Samsung curved high-definition display. I will still use my VR for fun flights and when I’m flying twins and so forth, but to actually keep it as realistic for training for school type maneuvers, I’ll use this new set up.
