A: There is no "Official" word, but I'm guessing "Yes". Under the "Cult of the Death God" mission (Pre-order Bonus Mission) - it says: "Time Exclusive Content".
Q: Is the "Cult of the Death God" mission, Settler Pistol, and Arkist Armor worth it?
A: The mission is about the length of most story missions in the game (it does have a boss fight at the end).
- The Settler Pistol comes fully upgraded - so there's no upgrade path. It seems like it can one or two shot most enemies... with a headshots. To the body, 3-4.
- The Arkist Armor is just cosmetic

A: It does not have lootboxes. However, it does have cosmetic micro-transactions in the form of "RAGE coins".
(The Goal for RAGE 2 is to extend it's life through adding FREE content and live events - the micro-transactions are to help fund this).
