Cosplay is more than just a hobby in which people dress up, it's also an art form. There's a bit more depth to it than that, people become the characters and bring them to life! As such, of course there is a community and that community (as well as the occasional ordinary fans) have their own perspective on just how a character should look when one takes on that character.
