Now we take the fight to them by getting rid of the mortars, and taking out a giant tyranoid!
We get our first taste of driving a vehicle...a bit slippery but not to tough to use!!
As for the boss always keep your distance you don't want to hit by this things melee attacks but besides that just dodge and shoot as you always do in this game LOL!!
I also show off the optional missions you can do with the rangers......a great way to get some extra bolts and level up your weapons!!!
Afterwards we get a call from nefarious himself and find out where to go next...AND get 2 new gadgets...after going through a VR course!!
There are 2 titanium bolts, a skill point and a trophy figure on the planet Tyhrranosis
skill points i got:
BE A SHARPSHOOTER
Snipe 10 Tyhrranoids off of their towers in the open area. There are
3 Tyhrranoids on each tower. Use the Flux Rifle. Range doesn't
matter.
BEAT HELGA'S BEST TIME
Complete the VR "Gadget Training" in under 0:50. It's not possible
the first time due to the hacker puzzles.
Titanium bolts i got:
When you get to the buggy mission, hop in the buggy and jump the bridge. Take
the road that leads right (on your map, its the road that goes to the right)
and you'll get to a bridge that leads to a building. Behind that building is
a titanium bolt.
To get this titanium bolt, you will need the Hypershot. To get the Hypershot, you will need to complete Tyhrranosis and then the new VR Gadget course on the Phoenix first. Ok, once you have the Hypershot, return to Tyhrranosis, get in the buggy and jump the bridge. This time, take the road that goes left (on
your map, it's the road that goes to the left) - it will lead to a green cave. Go into the cave on foot, climb the first set of platforms and keep your eyes peeled for a Hypershot grapple target. Swing across the gap to the alcove you see, round the corner and the titanium bolt is yours.
--Trophy ( Al )
Again, get in the buggy, jump the bridge and head to the upper-right corner ofthe buggy driving area. It's also in the upper right corner of your map too.Get off your buggy and jump to the rocky area that will lead to the large turret (a red ? on your map). The first area has a few enemies you'll need todispatch - two of which are on top of tall rocks. The trophy is on top of the rock closest to the water where the enemy was perched. You can high jump up
to it while standing on one of the short rocks at the base, or glide down to it from the roof of the building behind it.
To get this titanium bolt, you must complete Tyhrranosis first.Once back on the Phoenix, you'll find out there is a new VR course Helga put together. The course is called VR Gadget Training. Simply complete the course and you'll receive another titanium bolt. You'll also receive the Hypershot and Hacker gadgets which you'll need to get a few titanium bolts you couldn't previously reach.
I don't get them in that exact order but you get the idea LOL
