Synthetik has a more near future Sci-Fi Feel, with the weapons Feeling Punchy and Real, augmented by tech advances sure, but it's metal flying around at multipe times the speed of sound, and it's still gonna hurt.
As opposed to the more standard Cyberpunk aesthetic, Synthetik Feels More Real. You fight Humanoid opponents, that are technically robo-cyborgs, but behave like typical goon squads, sidestep weapons systems like radar-guided 20mm Vulcan Cannons, motors, and micro missiles, and outflank pondering drones, as you engage in massive boss battles against the old titans of the battlefield: Main Battle tanks, or Harrier Jump Jet descendents, or maybe new ones, like the new Giga Drones manufactured by our wayward drone daddies. Cool.
As a RogueLite, Synthetik is packing Procedural Generation, and Permadeath, along with 8 Character Classes, Tons of Weapons, and an Excellent Soundtrack.
Meta-Progression is present as well, so you keep Character and Research Unlocks if you happen to bite the bullet. Plus, Synthetik has Online Co-op!
