Real-time Strategy in the Hostile Dunes! - Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak
As a prequel to the events of Homeworld 1, "Deserts of Kharak" took on the unenviable challenge of translating 3D space fleet mechanics into compelling ground-based combat... and for the most part, they succeeded! The art is beautiful, the story enjoyable, and the gameplay familiar. Alas, this game is also very short, leaving you wishing for a longer and greater challenge. Still, if you love the Homeworld franchise, it's worth a go!
