Recall: Empty Wishes is a great thriller for an evening. Its story is clever and hard to put down, which works well for a game you’ll want to finish in one sitting. The emotional themes will leave you shocked, but the heaviness of it all is a bit overwhelming. I mean, can’t these people catch a break? Regardless, it’s a game that doesn’t move the genre in any significant way, but it has enough depth and creative twists to warrant a playthrough from genre fans.
