The full Corsus cosplay on display right here! For some reason, the carapace set often gets overlooked but it's a really solid set. It's void-esque in that it can do everything. You get a generous 3 separate stacks at 25% damage reduction and a constant 15% ALL damage buff active at all times. This version of the corrosive build is a hybrid between mod, ranged and melee damage. The scythe and abrasive amulet will provide corrosion with one charged attack. Unstable quills and swarm are two S tier powerhouse mods that will make quick work of any enemy (unless corrosive resistant). Unleash your mod's while squeezing some shotgun round in between to charge them simultaneously. After you are out of ammo from mag dumping both gun, go to town with the scythe. It's the highest DPS melee weapon in the game!

Not quite a Corsus cosplay but it was added in the Corsus DLC so I decided to add it in to the showcase lol. This version focuses solely on mod damage. The same thing applies with the abrasive/scythe combo. The change here is that we are using burden of the follower to generate those mods fast and allows to do some spamming. Make sure you shoot a shotgun in between each cast and detonation of quills. This will charge your mods and bypass the firerate nerf from follower. When out of mod's, shot swap back in fourth between sawed-off and shotty to also bypass the firerate nerf.
Build 3:

Shotgun - unstable quills / swarm
Butcher's flail / scythe
Twisted idol
Provisoner's ring
Damage rings of choice: Akari warband, ring of supremacy, burden of the gambler, braided thorns, burden of the warlord, gravity stone, ring of the admiral, etc
OR
Damage reduction ring of choice: aggressor bane, alchemists jewel, guardian ring, mother ring etc
This is mobbing/dungeon clearing version of the corrosive build. Twisted idol was added to bring you down to medium encumbrance and add more damage reduction. The medium roll will help if you get over run by mobs. Provisoner's ring (you guys no I love it!) will allow you to be on the constant assault during waves of enemies. I gave a few options on which weapons/mod's to bring. Bring quills and swarm, with the two shotties, if you will be fighting lot's of elites. Bring the hive cannon if fighting lot's of trash. The AOE is great vs trash mobs. If using hive cannon, use the scythe. If using the shotties, use butcher's flail for your corrosion.
Overall these builds, like any other pure elemental build are mainly used for just theme/cosplay type builds or against enemies who have an extreme weakness to the specific element. Pure of any element isn't very practical but can be a lot of fun! Attached is the enemy resistance chart so you can see which enemies are weak/resistant to which elements.
